From humble beginnings as a carpark conversation, Radiation Oncology Centres [ROC] is now the fastest growing radiation oncology service in Australia. With 50% growth in their footprint over the last twelve months and plans to increase by another 120% over the next two years, ROC is committed to increased access for Australians with cancer.
ROC employs the most sophisticated technology and techniques to treat a wide range of cancers including skin, breast, prostate, colorectal, lung, head and neck, and central nervous system. Highly technical, radiation oncology has the ability to deliver pinpoint accuracy when treating a tumour while sparing the organs and healthy tissue around the treatment area. Despite the investment in world-class machines and software, ROC believes this capability is nothing without a team committed to exceptional cancer care. Driving this care are 280 staff across 10 locations nationally. This is supported by a world-class clinical trials program, delivered by not-for-profit partner Oncology Research Australia [ORA].
With 50% of sites in regional Australia and a leading role in public-private partnerships [PPP], ROC is focused on equitable access to cancer services.
