About the role:

We have a full-time 12-month maternity leave contract available to join our passionate and dedicated team at the St Andrews’s Private Hospital in Toowoomba.
Join a prestige hospital that has been delivering multi-award winning services and excellent care to their tight-knit community for over 50 years. Services offered by the hospital include medical and surgical, cardiac, critical care, palliative care, renal dialysis, mental health as well as a busy Cancer Care Centre and Rapid Access Heart Centre.
Key responsibilities:
  • Dispense and supply medications for hospital inpatients and discharge 
  • Assist with managing pharmacy stock and imprest/ward stock 
  • Support patients, carers, hospital staff and associated employees
  • Process PBS claims
  • Produce medication discharge profiles
  • Delivery and collection rounds
  • Assist with patient account enquiries
About you:
We are seeking an enthusiastic Dispensary Technician who has the ability to work autonomously and in a team. You will also possess high attention to detail and proven ability to deliver a high standard of customer service.
Skills & experience: 
  • Previous experience dispensing in a community or hospital pharmacy
  • Knowledge of the PBS and S2/S3 products
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
