Medical Secretary



An opportunity now exists for an experienced medical secretary to join our team in delivering outstanding cancer care and service to our patients. This is a permanent full-time position and a chance to join a company with a commitment to meet the global cancer burden. 

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the coordinating clinical research related work such as data collection, filing, laboratory processing, research administration and patient coordination
  • Prepare medical record documentation for doctor(s)
  • Enter patient room with the doctor(s) during consultation to capture and transcribe medical record documentation
  • Ensure patient history, physical exam and related medical records are updated accurately and timely 
  • Monitor the duration of basic lab results and screening procedures
  • Perform other clerical duties and tasks as assigned
 Job Requirements
  • At least 3 years relevant experience
  • Candidates with research assistant or clinical trials experience will also be considered
  • Work experience in clinic/hospital would be an advantage
  • Good organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Detail-minded and able to work independently and under pressure in a collaborative team environment
  • Proficient in PC skills - MS Word, Excel
