About the Role
We’re looking for a passionate and patient-focused Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at Slade Pharmacy Geelong, based within Epworth Hospital. This permanent part-time role offers the opportunity to work each Saturday, supporting a wide variety of patients across multiple pharmacy services.

Slade Pharmacy Geelong provides a diverse range of services including inpatient and discharge medication, specialised and compounded medicines, post-op recovery support, compression garment fitting, and IVF counselling. In this role, you’ll contribute to the delivery of high-quality care across these areas, with IVF being one of several rewarding components of your responsibilities.

You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, provide medication counselling, and support patients with tailored advice and education. Whether you're an experienced hospital pharmacist or a community pharmacist looking to broaden your clinical scope, this is a fantastic opportunity to grow your expertise in a supportive and innovative hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dispense and manage a variety of medications including IVF, discharge, and specialised therapies
  • Provide timely and compassionate medication counselling and education to patients
  • Conduct Medication Reconciliation and develop Medicine Management Plans
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient care
  • Support safe and compliant handling, storage, and distribution of medications, including temperature-sensitive items
  • Consider cost-effective medication solutions for both hospital and outpatient care
  • Be available to work each Saturday as part of the permanent weekend roster

About You
Key Requirements:
  • Current Pharmacist registration with AHPRA
  • Interest in clinical pharmacy services, including women’s health and IVF
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Highly driven and enthusiastic
  • Strong time management, planning and organisation skills
  • Focused on delivering a high standard of customer service
  • Australian working rights
  • Prior hospital or IVF experience is not essential, as training and support will be provided
