Members of UICC are rapidly growing and currently include over 1100 organisations across 170 countries. Through global partnerships, UICC are dedicated to taking the lead in convening, capacity building and advocacy initiatives that unite the cancer community to reduce the global cancer burden, promote greater equity, and integrate cancer control into the world health and development agenda.
World Cancer Day is one of their many initiatives spearheaded by UICC to help implement national policies and promote a global response to cancer.
