We are looking for Pharmacy Assistants and Dispensary Technicians in full-time and part-time positions to join our team at Epic Pharmacy in Kings Meadows, Launceston TAS.
About the Roles
The Pharmacy Assistant is versatile team member, helping with both retail and other duties around the pharmacy.
An Assistant's responsibilities include:
- Assisting pharmacists in dispensing medications and providing customer service.
- Processing prescriptions and handling transactions at the point of sale.
- Managing stock levels, including ordering, receiving, and shelving medications.
- Providing basic health advice and answering customer queries within the scope of their role.
A Dispensary Technician's responsibilities include:
- Preparing and dispensing medications under the supervision of a pharmacist.
- Accurately interpreting and processing prescriptions, ensuring legal and safety standards are met.
- Managing inventory, including stock control, ordering, and storage of medications.
- Answering general queries from customers
- Assisting the pharmacy teams with other ad-hoc pharmaceutical duties

While previous pharmacy experience is a plus, it’s not a requirement! We provide full training – all we ask is that you bring the following qualities with you:
