We're seeking a motivated Pharmacist to join our North Gosford team on a permanent part-time basis. This weekend-only role is ideal for pharmacists seeking additional hours, including community pharmacists looking to build their first hospital pharmacy experience while maintaining existing employment commitments.

About the Role
This role supports the expansion of our clinical discharge service at Gosford Private Hospital, delivering pharmacy services to patients being discharged on Saturdays. You’ll provide discharge medication lists, medications, and counselling to patients in the following areas:

• Critical Care Wards (ICU and Coronary Care)
• Cardiac Catheter Lab (Gosford Heart Centre)
• General Wards

Shift information:

• Every Saturday, 09:00am - 01:00pm with some flexibility available.
• Additional weekday shifts may be available on occasion.

  
About You
We're looking for pharmacists who bring a patient-centred approach, strong attention to detail, and the ability to communicate confidently with both patients and healthcare professionals.
  
Whether you're an experienced hospital pharmacist or new to hospital pharmacy, we'll provide the training, support, and mentoring needed to succeed in the role. Community pharmacists looking to make the transition into hospital pharmacy are strongly encouraged to apply.
  
Essential requirements:

• General registration with AHPRA, with no restrictions on practice.
• Australian working rights, valid for at least 12-month from the date of employment
• Strong knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS).
• Long-term commitment to work the required shifts.

  
Desirable skills & experience:

• Hospital or clinical pharmacy experience.
• More than 2 years’ Australian practice experience.
