About the Role
This part-time position is ideal for Pharmacy Students looking to apply their academic knowledge in a hospital pharmacy setting.
Key responsibilities:
- Dispense and supply medication and pharmacy products
- Delivery of medications to hospital wards
- Inventory control and management
- Process sales transactions and assist with account queries
- Assist in the safe and accurate supply of medications to patients and clinical staff
- Support patients, carers, hospital staff and associated employees
Shift information:
- Fixed shift every Sunday, 8:30am to 02:00pm.
About You
You’re a year 2 to 4 Pharmacy Student, looking to develop your hospital pharmacy skills and build your pathway to internship opportunities.
Essential requirements:
- Will be enrolled in the 2nd to 4th year of a Pharmacy degree at an Australian university in 2027
- Professional, confidential and patient-focused approach
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team
- Valid Australian working rights for at least 12 months from commencement
- Commitment to work the advertised weekend shifts
Desirable skills & experience:
- Dispensing experience in an Australian-based hospital or community pharmacy
