Paul McClintock AO


Paul McClintock has in-depth leadership capability and industry influence having served in advisory and board positions across a broad range of industries.

Alongside his role as Chair on the Icon Group Board, Paul holds current Chair positions for Metlifecare and St Vincent’s Health Australia and is a Director on the Catholic Health Australia and O’Connell Street Associates Boards.

His prior Chair experience includes I-MED Radiology Network, Laser Clinics Australia, Broadspectrum, New South Wales Ports, Committee for Economic Development Australia (CEDA), Myer, Thales Australia, Medibank Private, the COAG Reform Council, the Expert Panel of the Low Emissions Technology Demonstration Fund, Intoll Management Limited, Symbion Health, Afinity Health, Ashton Mining, Plutonic Resources, the Woolcock Institute of Medical Research and The George Institute for Global Health. He was also Director of the Australian Strategic Policy Institute and Perpetual Limited, a Commissioner of the Health Insurance Commission, a member of the Australia-Malaysia Institute Executive Committee, and Secretary to Cabinet and Head of the Cabinet Policy Unit reporting directly to the Prime Minister on strategic direction in policy formulation.

Paul has a Bachelor of Arts/Law focused on economics and law from University of Sydney and was awarded an Officer in the Order of Australia (AO) in 2009.
