Our World Cancer Day activities

Icon's 2021 World Cancer Day campaign

This World Cancer Day and every day, Icon are ready to stand-up, act and create change for cancer patients globally, and to take positive action by showing our patients, partners and colleagues that we stand together for a world less burdened by cancer.

This year our international network across Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Mainland China and Hong Kong will show our support with the following activities:

Icon Wall of Hearts (online message board)

In support of the 2021 World Cancer Day campaign, Icon is encouraging patients, loved ones and, our teams and partners to submit virtual heartfelt ‘I AM and I WILL’ messages to symbolise our commitment to easing the cancer burden, and to provide messages of hope for those that need it most.  Messages received are shared with the world via Icon’s Wall of Hearts.

21 Days to Impact Challenge

This year, Icon Group’s leaders are proudly participating in the Union for International Cancer Control’s  World Cancer Day 21 Days to Impact Challenge.

Icon Group CEO, Mark Middleton and Group Executive – Icon Cancer Centre ASEAN, Serena Wee will be speaking up about the global cancer burden every single day for 21 days leading up to World Cancer Day on 4 February in an effort to place cancer at the forefront.
