About the Role
Are you ready to take the next step in your pharmacy career in a dynamic hospital setting? We’re looking for a passionate and motivated pharmacist to join our Slade Pharmacy team at Brunswick Private Hospital in a permanent part-time capacity, working Sundays and Mondays.

This role offers a unique opportunity to deliver impactful clinical pharmacy services across a diverse patient population, including rehabilitation, general medicine, and mental health. You’ll work closely with a multidisciplinary team to support the safe and effective use of medicines, contribute to patient care planning, and provide education and counselling to patients and staff.

Rostered Hours:
  • Sunday - 9:00am – 12:00pm
  • Monday - 8:30am – 4:30pm

Key Responsibilities:
  • Expand your role into clinical care and provide clinical pharmacy services including conducting medication history interviews, medication reconciliation and discharge summaries at transfers of care
  • Be efficient and effective at dispensing and distribution of medications
  • Provide medication counselling & education to patients
  • Work cooperatively and effectively with multidisciplinary teams and provide advice regarding patient care
  • Monitor the accuracy of prescriptions dispensed by pharmacy technicians
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with key stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service to clients and patients
  • Contribute to training and educational sessions for pharmacy, nursing, medical staff and allied health professionals
  • Assist to oversee imprest services and continuity of medication supply

About You
Key Requirements:
  • AHPRA registered pharmacist with previous experience in an Australian based pharmacy
  • Strong knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS)
  • Have time management, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Be flexible and adaptable working with a diverse team
  • Embrace change and commit to learning
  • Value attention to detail and able to work autonomously
