We're looking for a motivated Pharmacy or Dispensary Technician to join our Slade Pharmacy team in Epworth Camberwell Private Hospital on a casual basis. This is your opportunity to step into a hospital pharmacy setting, gain unique skills, and make a meaningful impact on patient care.
Slade Pharmacy Camberwell specialises in providing high quality rehabilitation services, offering a wide range of rehabilitation and mobility aids to support patients on their journey to recovery. The site is conveniently located just minutes from the train station, with a tram stop right outside, local cafés nearby, and free on-site parking.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispense and supply medication for hospital patients and outpatients.
- Deliver medication and collect rounds to hospital wards.
- Assist with managing ward imprest and stock management activities.
- Support patients, hospital staff and associated employees.
- Pharmacy claims and general administration duties.
What You’ll Bring
While hospital pharmacy experience is highly valued, it’s not essential as full training will be provided to aid your transition into this new space. Previous experience in pharmacy dispensing is required to ensure a confident start in the role.
Eligibility Requirements
- Permanent Australian working rights.
- Minimum 1-years’ dispensing experience in an Australian pharmacy.
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Experience in hospital pharmacy.
- Certificate III/IV in pharmacy (community or hospital) or equivalent.
