The Opportunity
We are seeking a Hospital Pharmacist to join our team at Slade Pharmacy on a permanent part-time basis. You will be rostered 6.5-hour fortnights, working one Saturday shift every alternate week, with additional shifts available on request.
  
This position is ideal for pharmacists seeking weekend work or those looking for a flexible role that complements other commitments during the week. Whether you're an experienced hospital pharmacist or transitioning from community pharmacy, we offer hands-on training to support your development in the hospital environment.
  
About the Role
Your key responsibilities include:

• Conducting medication chart reviews and medication reconciliation.
• Dispensing and supplying medications and pharmacy products.
• Managing patient medication needs during inpatient stays, day infusions, and discharges.
• Building and maintaining professional relationships with stakeholders to ensure outstanding service to patients and clients.
• Providing support and education to patients, carers, and hospital staff.
• Advising on health promotion, disease prevention, and the proper use of medications.

  
Pharmacy operating hours are as follow: 7am-7pm on weekdays, 7am-2pm on Saturdays, and 8.30am-11.30am on Sundays.
  
About You
To be considered for this role, you will be an AHPRA-registered pharmacist with experience in an Australian pharmacy setting. You will have a team-focused mindset, a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care, and strong communication skills to collaborate with a diverse group of healthcare professionals. Attention to detail, self-motivation, and a passion for continuous learning are essential.
  
To be considered for the role, we require that you possess:

• Current AHPRA registration as a pharmacist.
• Relevant experience working in an Australian pharmacy setting.
