About the Role
As the Internal Communication and Engagement Coordinator, you will support the coordination and delivery of key internal communication and engagement initiatives that strengthen organisational culture and reinforce Icon’s values.

Working as part of the Internal Communication team and reporting to the Internal Communication and Reputation Manager, you will contribute to enterprise-wide communication programs, coordinate the operation of Icon’s recognition framework and deliver communication and engagement activities that promote connection across divisions and regions.

Joining on a permanent full-time basis in our South Brisbane head office, you will play a key role in:
  • Supporting the creation and delivery of internal communication initiatives, campaigns and employee engagement programs
  • Coordinating recognition and engagement activities
  • Administering the Ignite recognition platform and supporting employees with platform guidance and troubleshooting
  • Coordinating divisional and group level recognition cycles and helping deliver Be Iconic Day and Iconic Awards
  • Managing communication logistics including scheduling, stakeholder liaison and campaign support
  • Providing reporting, insights and recommendations on campaign performance and recognition activity
  • Supporting leaders with recognition information, program education and operational processes
 
About You
You will bring strong coordination skills, experience supporting engagement or communication programs and the confidence to work with digital platforms and diverse stakeholders. You are an organised and collaborative team player with excellent written and interpersonal communication skills, supported by relevant qualifications or demonstrated experience in a similar role.

Our ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:
  • Experience coordinating programs or initiatives within communications or employee engagement environments
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple processes, deadlines and stakeholders
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills with the ability to craft clear and engaging content
  • Experience working with digital platforms or enterprise systems and supporting users with operational guidance
  • Ability to analyse participation metrics and engagement data to identify insights and opportunities
  • A collaborative team player who can build trusted relationships across functions and divisions
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in communications, marketing, business or a related field, or demonstrated experience in a similar role
