Why this Role Matters
Our systems support dispensary operations across our pharmacy network throughout Australia. As QA Lead, you’ll play a key role in modernising our legacy pharmacy systems through active involvement in two major initiatives:
- Dispensing and Inventory Management Project
- Pharmacy Finance Enablement Project
Key Responsibilities
- Lead QA Strategy: Define test approaches and plans for major pharmacy transformation projects.
- Drive Testing Excellence: Oversee functional, automated, and non-functional testing, including performance and security.
- Champion Automation: Maintain and optimise test automation tools and pipelines.
- Collaborate & Mentor: Work closely with cross-functional teams and guide QA team members.
- Ensure Compliance: Support audits and quality checkpoints to meet GMP and regulatory standards.
What You’ll Bring
Essential Requirements
- Australian working rights, valid for at least 12-months from date of employment.
- 7+ years in software QA, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior role.
- Proven experience in functional testing and test automation (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
- Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Azure DevOps).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Bonus Points for
- Experience in IT roles within the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry.
- Experience managing projects involving the transition from legacy IT systems to modern platforms.
- Experience testing MS D365, pharmacy dispensing, and inventory systems.
- Certifications in QA or engineering technologies.
