What You’ll Do:
  • Be the Friendly First Face: Greet every patient with warmth and compassion, making them feel comfortable and cared for from the moment they walk in.
  • Keep Things Running Smoothly: Manage incoming calls, answer patient inquiries, and schedule appointments—each interaction is a chance to make someone's day a little easier.
  • Precision in Action: Maintain top-notch attention to detail when entering patient information, processing billing, and managing patient records.
  • Guide Patient Journeys: Monitor and oversee administrative care paths, ensuring every step is smooth and efficient for the patients you support.
  • Handle Sensitive Information: Safeguard confidential patient information and ensure accurate management of medical records.
  • Use Your Knowledge: Utilize your understanding of Medicare, DVA claims, and medical terminology to assist patients and keep everything on track.
  • Be a Pillar of Support: Help our Workplace Health & Safety Officers carry out their roles and promote Icon’s vision and values across everything you do.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Experience in Healthcare: You’ve worked in a healthcare environment before and understand the importance of getting the details right.
  • Strong Organizational Skills: You can manage your time like a pro, juggling multiple tasks while staying calm and collected.
  • Exceptional Communicator: Your ability to connect with patients, carers, and colleagues helps build trust and ensures seamless communication.
  • Tech-Savvy: You’re proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, and ready to tackle administrative tasks with ease.
  • Client Service Superstar: You’re passionate about providing exceptional service, creating a positive experience for every person you interact with.
  • Knowledge of Medical Terminology: A basic understanding of medical terms and procedures helps you support the clinical team and patients with confidence.
