What You’ll Do
At Epic Pharmacy Newcastle, you’ll be central to the day‑to‑day dispensary operations, working closely with Pharmacy Technicians and the wider healthcare team to ensure the safe, accurate, and efficient supply of medications. You’ll oversee dispensing workflows, support medication management processes, and help maintain high standards of compliance and patient care.
  
Key responsibilities

• Conducting medication chart reviews and medication reconciliation
• Dispensing and supplying medication and pharmacy products
• Coordinating patient medication requirements for inpatient stay, day infusions and discharge
• Developing and maintaining professional relationships with key stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service to clients and patients
• Supporting patients, carers, hospital staff and associated employees
• Educating and advising staff and customers on health

About You 
You’re a newly registered or early career Pharmacist ready to take the next step in your professional journey. You’re motivated, detail‑focused, and keen to broaden your experience in a hospital dispensary setting. Hospital experience isn’t required as we’ll provide comprehensive training to support your transition. What matters most is your enthusiasm and commitment to delivering exceptional care. 
  
Essential requirements 

• Pharmacist registration with AHPRA, with no restrictions on practice 
• Australian working rights, valid for at least 12-monts from date of employment
• Personal Indemnity Insurance.
