As Pharmacy Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, supporting a dedicated team to deliver exceptional, patient-centred care. St John of God Bendigo Hospital is a 122-bed contemporary private hospital located in central Victoria providing high quality acute medical, surgical health & oncology care services for people in Bendigo and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the business performs efficiently and achieves key metrics
- Be involved in the strategic planning and operations of all aspects of the Pharmacy business
- Motivate, guide and lead our pharmacy team to provide exceptional healthcare and customer service
- Ensure the business complies with legislation and contractual obligations and continuously improves its clinical and pharmacy services
- Lead and manage dispensary, retail and clinical services with the support of an experienced team
- Work closely with the St John of God hospital team to ensure outstanding patient care and customer service.
We are seeking a passionate employee who can confidently lead and mentor a dynamic team. You will have a can-do attitude, with the ability to identify opportunities for development and growth for the business and think outside the box.
Key Requirements:
- Current Pharmacist registration with AHPRA
- Previous experience leading a team in a retail or hospital pharmacy setting
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- An organised self-starter
- Versatile and adaptable
- Able to build effective relationship across executives, nurses, doctors and senior hospital staff
- Passionate about delivering exceptional pharmacy services to our patients and hospital
