Kōrero mō te tūranga — About the Role
This position reports to our Nurse Manager and operates Monday–Friday, 8.00am–5.00pm, with a rostered day off each fortnight. Part‑time arrangements may be available for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide evidence-based nursing care, including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation
- Deliver systemic anti-cancer treatments and supportive therapies with confidence and clinical skill
- Collaborate with nursing leaders to support daily service operations
- Maintain strong, compassionate communication with patients, whānau and healthcare team
- Contribute to a positive, high‑performance, patient‑centred culture
- Participate in continuous quality improvement activities and uphold national standards
- Commit to ongoing professional development and support colleagues in their learning
- Practice in a culturally safe way that gives effect to Te Tiriti o Waitangi
- Assist with the delivery of clinical trials treatment

Qualifications, Skills & Experience
Our ideal candidate will:
- Be registered with the Nursing Council of New Zealand and have a current Annual Practising Certificate
- Demonstrate competency in the administration of systemic anti‑cancer and supportive therapies
- Be a collaborative team player with strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Experience in clinical trials and an interest in nursing development and education is highly desirable.
