The Opportunity:
We have an exciting permanent full-time opportunity for a pharmacist interested in further developing their hospital career. As the Senior Dispensary Pharmacy Technician, you will manage our dynamic hospital dispensary team at the renowned and fast-paced Epworth Private Hospital in Richmond. 

Key responsibilities:
  • Manage the pharmacy dispensary services including, community pharmacy section, dispensing services, collection of prescriptions and the delivery of dispensed medication and counselling
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and work collaboratively to provide excellent customer service and support to Epworth Private Hospital
  • Support the Technician Team Lead in training, coaching and managing all team members in the dispensary
  • Measure and monitor the performance of the dispensary team to feedback to the Technician Lead
  • Work in collaboration with team members in the pharmacy and other health professionals in the hospital
  • Support all matters associated with QCPP and NDSS
  • Oversee the management of owing prescriptions and ensure the PBS claim is prepared and submitted accurately
  • Triage patient account queries and complaints, escalating where necessary
  • Review daily dispense reports, error reports and amend as required.
  • Ensure delivery of efficient pharmacy services through supervision and management of staff, including allocation of duties, managing rosters, and coordination of workload
  • Develop and review procedures to improve service delivery
  • Support inventory management systems to ensure appropriate operational and financial control
  • Ensure efficient dispensing and billing systems and management of owing scripts
  • Assist in collecting and reporting pharmacy KPI's
  • Assist staff when required in the delivery of pharmacy services
