About the Job
We’re looking for a dedicated Administration Officer / Medical Receptionist to join our friendly and supportive team at our Radiation Therapy clinic in Norwest. This is a 12-month part-time contract (Monday to Friday only – no weekends), based in Bella Vista, Sydney.
What You’ll Be Doing
As the first point of contact for our patients, you’ll play a vital role in delivering exceptional care and administrative support. Your responsibilities will include:
- Greeting patients and managing personal information
- Scheduling appointments and managing calendars
- Handling phone enquiries with professionalism and empathy
- Processing billing through Medicare and private health systems
- Monitoring patient administration pathways
- Maintaining accurate and confidential patient records
- Supporting WHS initiatives and promoting a safe workplace
- Living and promoting Icon’s values in everything you do
About You
You’re an experienced administrator with a passion for people and a proactive, can-do attitude. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in delivering outstanding service.
You’ll bring:
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Clear and confident communication – both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- A commitment to excellent client service
- A basic understanding of medical terminology (desirable)
