Charge Radiation Therapist (Planning and Treatment)
We are proud to expand our presence in Perth, building on 12 years of service in the region and our strong foundation in Midland. We’re seeking an experienced and passionate Charge Radiation Therapist to provide high‑quality, patient‑centred care and lead planning, and treatment therapies within our cancer treatment centre. This charge RT role combines advanced clinical expertise with leadership and operational management, ensuring streamlined workflows and a culture of excellence. 
  • Work and Mentor the RT team across both planning and treatment 
  • Support Exceptional Patient Care with Cutting-Edge Technology- Varian TrueBeam w/ HyperArc, Eclipse Planning, ARIA, and PET/CT co-located.
  • Advanced Therapy Techniques: Stereotactic, IGRT, SGRT, DIBH, IMRT, VMAT.
  • Excellent REM + 5 Weeks Annual Leave + PD Allowance
  • Permanent Full Time Position, Monday-Friday, with a 9-day fortnight

Make a real impact in cancer care by leading the clinical operations of our unit and guiding a team of dedicated Radiation Therapists. In this key role, you’ll provide expert technical supervision and support, ensuring the highest standards of treatment. Reporting to the Site Manager, you’ll work full-time - 76 hours per fortnight on a 9-day roster.

As a Charge Radiation Therapist, you will:
  • Oversee safe, high‑quality radiation therapy services aligned with national standards.
  • Lead and manage a unit, providing technical and clinical guidance to Radiation Therapists.
  • Perform and supervise quality assurance on treatment machines and related equipment.
  • Drive service improvement initiatives and support research integration.
  • Champion a high‑performance culture through recruitment, training, and professional development.
  • Manage day‑to‑day operations, rostering, and resource allocation for optimal efficiency.
  • Promote safety, quality, and continuous improvement in line with WH&S and NSQHS standards.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enhance patient experience.

What We’re Looking For
  • Degree in Radiation Therapy (Undergraduate or Post‑Graduate).
  • Current AHPRA/MRPBA registration.
  • Radiation Use Licence for the applicable state.
Desired
  • Membership of professional bodies (e.g., ESTRO, ASMIRT, ASTRO, TROG).
  • Formal health, management, or leadership education (or working towards).
Skills & Experience
  • Proven leadership experience in radiation therapy teams.
  • Advanced clinical knowledge and technical proficiency.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to inspire trust and build relationships.
  • Understanding of private healthcare service delivery and Medicare billing.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Passion for education and team development.
