About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Pharmacist to join our dynamic and collaborative team at Slade Pharmacy, located within Epworth Hospital Camberwell. This permanent full-time role offers the perfect blend of clinical challenge, professional development, and lifestyle convenience in a supportive, multidisciplinary environment.

In this role, you’ll provide high-quality clinical pharmacy services to patients across a range of rehabilitation and mental health specialties. Working closely with medical, nursing, and allied health teams, you’ll play a vital role in medication safety, patient education, and continuity of care. You’ll be involved in a variety of key activities, from medication reconciliation and discharge planning to dispensing and counselling, ensuring patients have the best possible support through their recovery journey.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct medication reconciliation and discharge summaries at transfers of care
  • Be efficient and effective at dispensing and distribution of medication to the rehabilitation wards in Epworth Camberwell
  • Provide efficient clinical pharmacy services to the wards
  • Conduct medication history interviews, medication reconciliation and discharge summaries at transfers of care
  • Provide medication counselling & education to patients
  • Work cooperatively and effectively with multidisciplinary teams and provide advice in regard to patient care
  • Monitor the accuracy of prescriptions dispensed by pharmacy technicians
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with key stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service to clients and patients
  • Contribute to training and educational sessions for pharmacy, nursing, medical staff and allied health professionals
  • Assist to oversee imprest services and continuity of medication supply
About You
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about joining our team and delivering modern, patient-focused pharmacy services.

Key Requirements:
  • Be a current AHPRA registered pharmacist with previous experience in an Australian based pharmacy
  • Strong knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS)
  • Have time management, communication and teamwork skills
  • Be flexible and adaptable working with a diverse team
  • Embrace change and commit to learning
  • Value attention to detail and able to work autonomously and multi-task
Eligibility Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of dispensing experience in an Australian based hospital or community pharmacy
About the Site
Epworth Camberwell is a 147-bed specialist rehabilitation hospital, offering expert care across a range of services including a dedicated sleep disorders clinic, Electroconvulsive Therapy (EMI), and 63 beds dedicated to mental health support. The hospital provides tailored rehabilitation programs for patients recovering from acquired brain injuries, cardiac events, musculoskeletal and traumatic orthopaedic injuries, surgery, and neurological conditions such as stroke.

Slade Pharmacy, located onsite at Epworth Camberwell, supports patients throughout their recovery journey by offering a wide range of rehabilitation and mobility aids, as well as expert pharmacy services. The pharmacy caters to both inpatients and visitors and is open from 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday, and 8am to 1pm on weekends.
