About the role
This is a 2-year fixed term, full time position with a strong likelihood to become permanent. Reporting to the Head of Digital Marketing and working closely with the Digital Marketing Manager, the Digital Experience Specialist will manage the development, maintenance and enhancement of Icon Group's 17 websites with a focus on continuous improvement of the user experience, engagement metrics and conversion rates. Due to our ongoing global expansion, there are as many as 8 new websites to be built over the next 12 months.

Using your experience with content management systems and a solid understanding of UX, SEO and CRO, you will facilitate the implementation of our web content strategy, provide guidance on content best practices and feature enhancements while leading the development of new web projects.

With your excellent project management skills, you will collaborate with key stakeholders, agencies and vendors to execute development roadmaps for key websites to drive business results for Icon Cancer Centres in AU/NZ, the ASEAN region, soon to be in the UK, Icon Group corporate, as well as our pharmacy and compounding divisions.

Key responsibilities
  • Work closely with our web development agency to maintain Icon Group's 17 websites in terms of content updates, feature enhancements, bug fixes and software updates.
  • Monitor the performance of Icon Group websites and identify opportunities to improve the user experience, engagement metrics and conversion rates.
  • Lead the management and implementation of content updates while providing guidance on effectiveness, quality assurance and training where necessary to ensure best practice and consistency.
  • Lead and project manage the development and execution of new web projects and platforms in partnership with key stakeholders and agencies.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and execute the content strategy to drive results across SEO and support paid media content requirements.
  • Work closely with our SEO agency to implement technical updates, identify content opportunities and monitor search engine performance.
About you
We're looking for someone who has at least 5 years of experience working with content management systems and has foundational knowledge of HTML/CSS and JavaScript, although you will have a web development agency at your disposal for more complex work.

You may have a digital agency or web development background, and have a broad understanding of marketing technologies, website analytics and the interaction between digital channels to create a cohesive user journey.

You will have a can-do attitude and will happily manage the needs of smaller, day-to-day content update requests and larger, high impact web projects that require strategic thinking.

With excellent communication and project management skills, you will be able to effectively manage relationships with various stakeholders and prioritise the work accordingly.

You will have a key interest in working for an organisation that focuses on providing quality patient care.

Experience
  • 5 years or more of experience with content management systems. Digital agency or web development experience would be ideal.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing web projects from end to end while engaging with multiple stakeholders, agencies and vendors.
  • Foundational understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and other web technologies.
  • Proficient in the use of Google Analytics to generate insights and report on performance. Experience with Looker Studio is advantageous but not essential.
  • A background in SEO and content marketing would be highly desirable.
  • Google Tag Manager experience would be ideal.
  • Experience with integration / automation tools like Zapier and/or Power Automate a bonus.
