Slade Pharmacy Richmond currently has multiple full-time pharmacy technician positions available across our retail/community and hospital pharmacy departments.
We’re calling for Expressions of Interest from pharmacy technicians and assistants with a “can-do” attitude and be driven by the desire to have a positive impact on another person’s life to deliver comprehensive and quality pharmacy services.
- Deliver high level pharmacy services to the hospital staff, patients and customers
- Dispense and supply medications for hospital and oncology patients
- Assist with imprest and pharmacy inventory management
- Undertake delivery and collection of medications to hospital wards
- Complete data entry of patient specific information into database
- Assist with patient account enquiries
- Liaise with hospital staff and associated employees
- Assist the pharmacy teams complete administrative and record keeping duties
Who we're looking for:
- Previous experience dispensing medication in an Australian-based community or hospital pharmacy is essential.
- Full-time availability.
- Strong knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS).
- Strong time management, communication and teamwork skills.
- Ready to embrace change and commit to lifelong learning.
- Value attention to detail and able to work autonomously.
