About the role:
We have a permanent full-time role available within our IT Service Delivery team and based out of our head office in Brisbane. Reporting to the Head of IT Service Delivery, this role exists to lead a team of Site Services Specialists who are responsible to provide site-based IT service and support for all divisions of Icon Group across Australia and New Zealand.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead a nationally dispersed team to provide exceptional IT service and support
- Ensure the team is effectively and efficiently executing its operational deliverables, activities and tasks
- Act as the team escalation point, including ownership of technical services and related relationships with external IT service providers
- Support and contribute to business and IT led projects including facilitation of contributions from Site Services team members
- Identifying, leading and driving continual improvement of all facets of operational service and support provided by the team
- Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards and regulatory requirements.
We are seeking an individual with the following experience:
- Leading a team within an IT support environment with a proven ability to keep the team engaged, motivated and continually improving
- Strong technical knowledge of common IT hardware and applications used within a corporate – and ideally health care – environment; tertiary computing related qualification favourable
- Working in an ITIL-aligned environment with a working knowledge of ITIL processes (particularly Incident, Service Request and Change Management)and their application within IT Service Management platforms)
- Passion and dedication for service with an ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels within an organisation and with our external service providers
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proactive and curious mindset
- Valid driving licence and roadworthy vehicle to occasionally travel to metro sites and a willingness to also occasionally travel interstate.
