In this key management position, you’ll lead approximately seven FTEs and drive the nursing team’s commitment to quality care, continuous improvement, and patient satisfaction. Working closely with our Site Manager, you’ll foster a collaborative and safe work environment, leveraging resources effectively to enhance clinical outcomes. Your role will extend across our network, collaborating with nurse educators, quality specialists, and oncology researchers to maintain our high standards.
You’ll also have the chance to shape our future leaders, participate in workforce planning, and support an engaged and highly skilled nursing team through development, training, and mentorship.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate patient-centred care, integrating evidence-based practice with innovative service delivery.
- Provide advanced clinical and professional guidance to multidisciplinary teams, maintaining a high standard of care.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with patients, families, and stakeholders, responding to patient feedback thoughtfully and proactively.
- Oversee the effective management of all resources, including budgeting, staff rosters, and safety and quality standards.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and career development, fostering a positive, inclusive, and growth-oriented workplace.
We’re seeking a compassionate and driven Nurse Unit Manager with a solid background in oncology, ideally with experience in radiation oncology. You’re a proactive leader with a collaborative spirit, keen to guide your team toward success while keeping patient care at the forefront. With your strong interpersonal skills and commitment to quality service, you’re ready to make a meaningful impact on the lives of patients and their families.
