About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a part-time Hospital Pharmacist to join us to deliver comprehensive and quality pharmacy services at Epic Pharmacy at the highly regarded Burnside War Memorial Hospital in Toorak Gardens. With the support of our leaders, you will develop and gain a whole new set of skills within a clinical environment.
This is a fixed term contract until 2nd February 2025, however there are often further opportunities to advance your career with us with an extension of contract or permanent position.
The hours:
This is fixed term contract until 2nd February 2025, working each Saturday (9:00am – 12:00pm) and every second Sunday (9:00am – 12:00pm).
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispense and supply medication and pharmacy products
- Perform medication chart reviews and medication reconciliation
- Educate and counsel staff, patients and allied health professionals
As a registered pharmacist with Australian based pharmacy experience, you will have a team orientated attitude, a focus on delivering exceptional service and care to patients, and the ability to manage your own workload with good communication skills to effectively liaise with a wide range of health professionals. You will be highly driven and have high attention to detail and a passion for building on your clinical skills and knowledge.
