The Opportunity
The Bays Private Hospital is located on the picturesque Mornington Peninsula, with close proximity to many local attractions such as coastal living, rural vistas and recreational activities, providing an ideal lifestyle location within driving distance of the CBD. The hospital consists of 100 acute beds and offers a range of acute medical, surgical, intensive care, obstetric and oncology services.

Supporting the service provision at The Bay’s Hospital, this manager role is ideally suited to a pharmacist keen to take the first step into leadership and management of a pharmacy team. Leadership and manager skills development will be provided to the successful candidate.

The small pharmacy team works collaboratively to provide a quality pharmacy service to the hospital which requires the manager to take a hands-on approach in the day-to-day operation of the pharmacy.

In this role your will:
  • Ensure the business operates profitably and efficiently
  • Being involved in the strategic planning and operations of all aspects of the Pharmacy business
  • Motivate, guide and lead our pharmacy team to provide exceptional healthcare services
  • Actively participate and oversee all daily operational activities in the pharmacy
  • Ensure the business complies with legislation and contractual obligations and continuously improves its clinical and pharmacy services
  • Attend and present at key client hospital meetings
Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a passionate leader who can confidently lead and mentor a dynamic team.  You will have the ability to identify opportunities for development and growth for the business with a can-do attitude.

You’ll:
  • Be a current AHPRA registered pharmacist with previous experience in an Australian based pharmacy
  • Have time management, communication and teamwork skills
  • Be flexible and adaptable working with a diverse team
  • Embrace change and commit to learning
  • Have experience working in an Australian Pharmacy
