About the Role
You will be working across both retail and hospital pharmacy settings, delivering high-quality pharmacy services to retail customers and hospital patients alike.
  
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide efficient clinical pharmacy services to a clinical area.
  • Conduct medication history interviews, medication reconciliation and pharmaceutical reviews at transfers of care.
  • Be efficient and effective dispensing and distribution of medication.
  • Conduct, therapeutic drug monitoring, monitor medication outcomes and adverse drug reaction management.
  • Provide medication counselling & education to patients.
  • Work cooperatively and effectively with multidisciplinary teams and provide advice about patient care.
  • Contribute to training and educational sessions for pharmacy, nursing, medical staff and allied health professionals.
  • Support the quality use of medicines by participating in projects, audits, working groups or committees as required.
  • Consider financial implications of medication use in hospital and for patients obtaining the medicines in the community.
  • Contribute to on-call and weekend services.
  
About You
You’re a registered Pharmacist with at least 1-year of practice experience, ready to take the next step in your career. You’ve built a strong foundation in pharmacy practice and are now seeking opportunities to expand your scope, embrace new challenges, and grow your clinical expertise in a hospital setting.
  
Hospital experience isn’t required as we’ll provide comprehensive training to support your transition. What matters most is your enthusiasm and commitment to delivering exceptional care!
  
Essential Requirements
  • Pharmacist Registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia (AHPRA), and no restrictions on practice
  • Permanent Australian working rights.
  • Minimum 1-year Australian Pharmacist experience.
  • Personal Indemnity insurance.
  
Desirable Skills & Experience
  • Prior experience working in a hospital pharmacy setting
