What You’ll Do
Slade Pharmacy Toowoomba offers a vibrant and rewarding environment where leadership, adaptability, and customer service excellence come together. As a Pharmacy Technician, you’ll actively contribute to both the retail and dispensary functions of the pharmacy. This includes engaging with customers at the front of shop, assisting with medication supply, and supporting the dispensary team as needed.
  
Key Responsibilities
  • Support and coordinate daily retail pharmacy operations, ensuring smooth workflow and excellent customer service.
  • Assist in dispensing and supplying medications under pharmacist supervision, maintaining accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintain high standards of presentation, stock management, and patient care across both dispensary and retail areas.
  • Process sales transactions and respond to customer and account queries professionally and efficiently.
  • Ensure timely and accurate provision of medications and information to patients and hospital staff.
  • Provide friendly and knowledgeable support to patients, carers, and clinical teams, contributing to a collaborative and service-focused environment.
  
What You’ll Bring
We’re looking for an experienced Pharmacy Technician or Assistant who enjoys working in a customer-focused retail environment and is confident supporting dispensary operations. A positive attitude and willingness to work across both areas is essential.

  • Minimum1 year of experience in pharmacy retail operations or dispensary in Australia.
  • The ability to work autonomously in a team environment.
  • Permanent Australian working rights.
  • Commitment to full-time employment
  
Desirable Skills and Experience
  • Certificate III or IV in Community Pharmacy or equivalent as recognised by the Pharmacy Board of Australia.
  • Previous experience in a Pharmacy Dispensary is highly regarded.
