About the Role
We’re offering a unique permanent part-time opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join our friendly and welcoming team at Slade Pharmacy, St John of God Bendigo Hospital. This position is ideal for someone wanting to gain or build hospital pharmacy experience without giving up weekday flexibility.
Working in a modern, 167-bed private hospital, you’ll support both inpatient and outpatient pharmacy services. Your responsibilities will include dispensing medications, helping with stock management, and assisting patients and clinical staff with everyday pharmacy needs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Dispense medications under supervision for hospital inpatients and outpatients
- Assist customers with general queries, including liaising with hospital staff
- Replenish stock and assist in maintaining inventory levels both in pharmacy and in the hospital
- Assist the pharmacy teams with other ad-hoc pharmaceutical duties
- Provide support to patients, carers, and hospital staff

Essential Requirements:
- Experience dispensing medications in an Australian-based hospital or community pharmacy
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-first approach
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and within a team
- Australian working rights
Desirable (but not essential):
- Certificate III or IV in Community Pharmacy or equivalent recognised by the Pharmacy Board of Australia
- Previous hospital pharmacy experience – training will be provided
