What You’ll Do
As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a key role in supporting the dispensary team and ensuring the safe and timely supply of medications to patients and hospital staff. Your work may also include occasional retail duties, but the primary focus is on hospital pharmacy services.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist in dispensing and supplying medications under pharmacist supervision
- Maintain accurate records and compliance with regulatory standards
- Manage stock control and ensure timely replenishment
- Provide friendly and knowledgeable support to patients, carers, and clinical teams
- Process transactions and respond to queries professionally when required
- Contribute to a collaborative and service-focused environment across both pharmacy sites
What You’ll Bring
We’re seeking Pharmacy Technicians who are confident in dispensary operations and enjoy working in a hospital setting. Hospital experience is not required as full training will be provided.
Essential requirements[DQ1] [DQ2] :
- Minimum1-year Australian pharmacy dispensary experience
- The ability to work autonomously in a team environment
- Australian working rights, valid for at least 12-months from date of employment
Desirable skills & experience:
- Certificate III or IV in Pharmacy or equivalent
