Process Worker (Morning and Afternoon Shifts)

Everybody knows someone who has spent time in hospital. During a time of upheaval and uncertainty, hospital patients deserve to experience and receive exceptional healthcare. Critical to this care is to offer the best quality personalised pharmaceutical products in a timely manner, and this is where our Production Technicians can make a difference.

Slade Health is a national sterile compounding service provider with TGA accredited manufacturing facilities based in Queensland, Victoria and New South Wales. That means we produce pharmaceutical products from chemotherapy drugs through to sterile antibiotic and patient nutrition products. We receive orders from hospitals which can be tailored to the specific needs of each individual patient, then our Production Technicians process and dispatch these orders to hospitals for use by patients all around the country.

About the role:
A permanent full-time and contract position, working the morning shift, 5:30am - 1:30pm, or 2pm to 10.06pm (Mon - Thurs) and 1pm to 9.06pm Friday, is available at our Geebung site. You will be provided with extensive training and will be responsible for:
  • Decontamination of materials
  • Printing labels and batch documents
  • Compounding/mixing product in the cleanroom
  • Checking, packing and labelling final product
  • Ensuring completion of documentation
What we are looking for:
Formal qualifications are not a requirement, because it’s more important for every Production Technician to commit to the training; then work efficiently, accurately and with an appreciation for the importance of the quality of the product. Please note, this is a compounding/production role in a sterile manufacturing environment and does not involve any research, microbiology or product testing.

We’d love to hear from you if you have an eye for details and meticulous record-keeping skills. Slade Health is a hive of activity, so we strive to build a team of individuals with a proactive and enthusiastic working style and strong communication skills.

Prior to commencing employment with Slade Health, candidates will be required to undertake and pass a pre-employment medical which includes a supervised drug test.
