About the Role
This is a pivotal role within Icon Group’s Oncology Development team, offering the opportunity to contribute to the financial and operational success of major healthcare projects. As the Project Finance & Procurement Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the smooth coordination of financial processes, procurement activities, and project documentation.
This is a 24-month full-time contracted position based at our South Brisbane Head Office. You’ll work closely with the Head of Development Program and a multidisciplinary team to maintain cost control, reconcile invoices and purchase orders, and support supplier engagement. Your role will also involve preparing reports for senior stakeholders and maintaining accurate records through SharePoint and other systems.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a structured environment, has a keen eye for detail, and thrives on supporting complex projects that make a real difference in patient care. You’ll be part of a team that values collaboration, initiative, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support end-to-end procurement activities including request for quotations, purchase orders and supplier engagement.
- Maintain procurement registers, track status of requests, documentation control and ensure timely progression through approval workflows.
- Onsite load in and commissioning support where required.
- Maintenance of project cost control and cashflow documentation
- Provide data entry input into standard reporting dashboards and input template reporting into Management reporting packs when required
About You
You’re a motivated and organised professional with a strong background in finance administration or procurement. You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy juggling multiple tasks with precision and care. Your attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality make you a trusted team member.
Essential Requirements:
- Proven experience in financial administration including accounts payable/receivable
- Strong knowledge of finance systems and processes
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience in finance and procurement systems (D365) desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Initiative and confidence to work independently and within a team
- Certificate in Business Administration (Finance) - desirable
- SharePoint knowledge and health project experience - highly regarded
