This is a unique opportunity for a registered pharmacist to take the next step in their career by joining our dedicated Quality team at Slade Health’s compounding facility in Mount Waverley. As a Quality Pharmacist, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the safety, efficacy, and integrity of aseptically compounded medicines, including life-saving oncology treatments and clinical trial products.

This full-time position is offered on an evening shift basis, working Monday to Thursday from 1:54pm–10:00pm, and Friday from 12:54pm–9:00pm, totalling 76 hours per fortnight. Competitive rates and penalty loadings apply.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform product release for a wide range of sterile compounded medications, including chemotherapy and antibiotics
  • Ensure all products meet strict quality standards and align with product specifications and GMP documentation
  • Support the development, review, and update of Pharmaceutical Quality System (PQS) documentation
  • Investigate and report deviations, incidents, complaints, and non-conformances
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to uphold and enhance quality assurance standards
