About the Role:
We are seeking a full time Radiation Therapist to join our Cancer Centre located within the Holmesglen Private Hospital. The primary purpose of this role will be to provide high quality radiation therapy planning and treatment as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist. This role reports to the Radiation Therapy Manager and operates on a 9-day fortnight.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality, safe, patient-centred clinical radiation therapy planning and treatment delivery services that complies with all relevant safety and quality standards.
- Maintain the highest standards of patient care and continually enhance the quality of service and patient experience.
- Liaise with members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure patient needs are met in a timely manner.
- Exhibit a strong patient focus and treating all patients and their carers with respect, dignity, and equality.
- Support a high-performance culture that delivers quality patient care services through a patient centric and collaborative approach.

- Demonstrate a commitment to the delivery of high-quality radiation therapy services and customer service
- Demonstrable capacity to work effectively and positively as a member of the Multidisciplinary team
- Apply effective communication and interpersonal skills to represent Icon in a strong and positive manner to all stakeholders.
- Ability to adhere to clinical protocols and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Current AHPRA Radiation Therapist Registration
- Current Victorian DHHS registration for Radiation Use License
- Strong clinical knowledge and skills in managing patients requiring Radiation Therapy services
