The Role:
This is a permanent full-time position reporting to the Network & Communications Team Leader. In this role, you’ll manage daily operations, deliver enterprise network & security projects, drive continuous improvement, and support secure, reliable IT infrastructure.
While the role is primarily based in Brisbane, we offer a hybrid work arrangement with offices located in Sydney and Melbourne. We also welcome and encourage applications from Australian based candidates located outside these cities.
What You’ll Do:
- Maintain and enhance network performance and security.
- Deliver on network and security projects.
- Lead incident response and resolve issues efficiently.
- Support cybersecurity initiatives and documentation.
- Design, configure, and maintain scalable and secure enterprise networks.
- Collaborate across teams and contribute to budgeting.
What You Bring:
- 5+ years’ hands-on experience in a senior network and security engineering role.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering - highly desirable.
- Cisco/Palo Alto/Azure certifications desirable.
- Expertise in Cisco Meraki, Nexus switches, Palo Alto NGFWs, DNS/DHCP, Site-site VPNs, SD-WAN and network management tools.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, change management and communication skills.
