The Role:
We are seeking an experienced and visionary manager to lead the operational success of our new theranostics service. This pivotal role will drive the establishment and management of the facility, ensuring the delivery of high-quality imaging and therapy services while meeting strategic, clinical, quality, safety, and financial performance targets.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide operational leadership and management to establish and grow the theranostics service.
  • Oversee the delivery of high-quality imaging and therapy services, ensuring compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform and supervise PET-CT imaging, general nuclear medicine and radionuclide therapies.
  • Manage and lead the workforce, including the Nuclear Medicine Technologist team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Utilise expert clinical knowledge and skills to drive operational and clinical outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the Group Director of Molecular Oncology to achieve strategic objectives and improve patient outcomes through innovative technology.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Tertiary qualification in Applied Science in Nuclear Medicine Technology
  • Current registration with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia / AHPRA.
  • Eligible for licensing with the Radiological Council of WA.
  • Extensive clinical expertise and experience in nuclear medicine and theranostics.
  • Proven leadership and management skills with the ability to drive operational success.
  • Strong understanding of legislative and regulatory compliance in healthcare including accreditation.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to lead and inspire a team.
  • A passion for leveraging cutting-edge technology to transform cancer care.
  • Experience in theranostic research, including radiopharmaceutical labelling, equipment calibration and protocols.
