What You’ll Do
As a Clinical Pharmacist, your role goes far beyond dispensing. You’ll be a key contributor to complex treatment plans, directly influencing patient outcomes through expert medication management and clinical insight.
  

• Learn and undertake clinical pharmacy duties, including oncology pharmacy and dispensary, with increasing levels of autonomy as training progresses.
• Apply professional judgement to a range of cases, developing an evidence-based approach to support the continuum of care.
• Work cooperatively and effectively with multidisciplinary teams and patients/carers, contributing to a collaborative healthcare environment.
• Participate in structured training to gain the skills necessary to provide high-level advice and care within an oncology setting.

  
About You
You’re an experienced Pharmacist eager to expand your skills and knowledge in oncology pharmacy.
  
While prior hospital or clinical pharmacy experience is desirable, experienced Community Pharmacists are welcome to apply. Comprehensive training will be provided, so don’t be afraid to put your hand up for this career changing experience!
  
Essential requirements

• Permanent Australian working rights.
• Current AHPRA general registration, with no restrictions on practice.
• Minimum 3-years practice experience in community pharmacy OR 1-year in hospital/clinical pharmacy.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and manage interactions with doctors and multidisciplinary teams.
