What You’ll Do
Hospital pharmacy offers a dynamic, fast-paced environment where precision and collaboration are key, and your decisions will have a direct impact on the treatment outcomes of patients.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting medication chart reviews and medication reconciliation
- Dispensing and supplying medication and pharmacy products
- Coordinating patient medication requirements for inpatient stay, day infusions and discharge
- Supporting patients, carers, hospital staff and associated employees
What You’ll Bring
We’re looking for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and brings strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. While hospital pharmacy experience is highly valued, it’s not essential as training will be provided to aid your transition into this new space.
Essential requirements:
- General registration with AHPRA, with no restrictions on practice.
- Minimum 1-year Australian pharmacy practice experience
- Australian working rights, valid for at least 12 months from start of employment.
- Personal Indemnity insurance.
- Vaccination status as required by Mt. Lawley Hospital
- Working with Children Check
- Police clearance
Desirable skills & experience:
- Prior experience working in a hospital pharmacy setting
