The Opportunity
We’re looking for a Marketing Lead to join our team and take ownership of marketing across Slade Pharmacy and Compounding in Australia and New Zealand.
This is a hands‑on, senior individual contributor role, available as either full‑time or a 4‑day part‑time option - because we know great marketing doesn’t always need 5 days a week.
Reporting to the Head of Strategic Marketing & Customer Experience, you’ll translate business priorities into marketing that actually lands. The focus is on customer growth, retail sales, prescriber engagement and strong, consistent market positioning.
You’ll own delivery end‑to‑end, working closely with shared marketing delivery teams across digital, content and campaigns. There’s no people management in this role; just meaningful scope, smart problems to solve, and stakeholders who value good marketing when they see it.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading the delivery of the Slade Pharmacy and Compounding marketing program across AU/NZ
- Turning business priorities into clear, workable marketing plans
- Delivering end‑to‑end campaigns across digital, content, customer engagement and in‑hospital channels
- Supporting ecommerce growth, compounded product promotion and customer acquisition initiatives
- Ensuring all activity aligns with regulatory, compliance and brand requirements
- Adapting global frameworks and playbooks so they make sense in a Pharmacy and Compounding context
- Partnering closely with pharmacy leaders, site managers and operational teams
- Tracking performance, learning what works and improving engagement, conversion and ROI
- Managing multiple initiatives at once without losing momentum or quality
- Providing clear, practical updates and insights to senior stakeholders
About You
You’re a seasoned marketing professional who enjoys owning delivery, partnering with stakeholders and seeing work make a real impact.
Essential requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Business or Communications
- 5+ years’ experience delivering end‑to‑end marketing campaigns
- Strong execution skills across digital, content and integrated marketing
- Confidence linking marketing activity to real outcomes and ROI
- A calm, credible way of working with senior leaders and operational teams
- Great organisation and prioritisation skills (because everything is always urgent and important)
- A practical, solutions‑focused mindset and a sense of ownership over outcomes
Bonus points:
- Experience in healthcare, pharmacy or other regulated environments
- Experience delivering marketing across a national retail or distributed networks
