About the Role
We’re seeking a passionate and skilled Radiation Therapist to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Clinical Lead Radiation Therapist, you’ll deliver high-quality planning and treatment services aligned with the Radiation Oncologist’s prescription.
  
Key Responsibilities
  • To clinically implement planning and treatments as directed by the Radiation Oncologist that best meet the patient’s needs.
  • Ensure adherence to departments protocols and procedures to deliver safe and efficient service with exceptional patient care.  
Working at Rockingham
Our integrated cancer centre offers both Radiation Oncology and Day Oncology/Haematology services. You’ll collaborate across departments to ensure seamless, holistic care for our patients.
  
Equipment includes:
  • Varian TrueBeam Linear Accelerator
  • Eclipse Treatment Planning System
  • Aria Patient Information Management System

You’re a motivated, adaptable, and compassionate professional who thrives in a collaborative environment. You bring a positive attitude and a commitment to delivering exceptional care.
  
Skills & Experience
  • AHPRA registration as a Radiation Therapist
  • WA Radiation Licence to use a radiation source
  • Experience in planning and plan checking across various techniques
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Leadership capability and mentoring experience
  • Experience with stereotactic techniques (desirable)
  • Familiarity with private healthcare service models
