Radiation Therapist – Icon Cancer Centre, The Bays (Mornington Peninsula, VIC)
About the Role
Join our dedicated team at Icon Cancer Centre, The Bays, where we deliver world-class cancer care to the Mornington Peninsula community. We are seeking a Radiation Therapist to provide safe, high-quality radiation treatments as prescribed by our Radiation Oncologists. This is a permanent, full-time position, reporting to the Radiation Therapy Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver precise, patient-centred radiation therapy planning and treatment in line with clinical protocols and safety standards.
- Maintain exceptional standards of care, continually striving to improve patient experience.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure timely and holistic patient care.
- Treat all patients and carers with respect, dignity, and equality.
- Contribute to a high-performance, patient-focused culture through teamwork and innovation.
You’ll be part of a dynamic, forward-thinking team committed to cutting-edge radiation therapy techniques. We’re looking for someone enthusiastic, adaptable, and motivated to thrive in a supportive environment.
Skills & Experience
- Demonstrated technical proficiency in radiation therapy planning and delivery.
- Strong adherence to clinical protocols and safety procedures.
- Understanding of private healthcare service delivery models.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Current AHPRA registration as a Radiation Therapist and Victorian Radiation Use Licence.
- Professional indemnity insurance as required by AHPRA.
