Research Finance Integrity Specialist – Icon Group Research Operations

About the role
As a Research Finance Integrity Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting the financial systems and processes that underpin Icon’s global clinical research portfolio. Working closely with research, finance and external partners, you will help ensure accuracy, transparency and integrity across all research finance activities. This is a full-time 12-month contract position reporting to the Global Research Finance Integrity Manager.
  
In this role, you will:

• Support the build, maintenance and optimisation of clinical trials within the Clinical Trials Management System, ensuring alignment with budgets and contracts
• Assist with invoicing, reconciliation, reporting and financial tracking across all stages of clinical trials
• Act as a key liaison between research teams, finance, sponsors and vendors to resolve financial queries and discrepancies
• Contribute to system improvements, process enhancements and training initiatives that strengthen research finance capability
• Support compliance with Good Clinical Practice, internal controls and research governance requirements  

What you bring:

• Experience in clinical research, research finance or a related role, with strong attention to detail
• A sound understanding of research guidelines and Good Clinical Practice
• Confidence working with complex systems, data and multiple stakeholders
• A collaborative mindset, strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem solving
• Experience with CTMS platforms, budgets and contracts, and exposure to oncology or haematology research will be highly regarded
