What You’ll Do
Working across both dispensary and clinical areas, you’ll be providing hands‑on clinical pharmacy services and supporting patient care as part of a multidisciplinary team. You will be working alongside a team of Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians. This environment is ideal for strengthening your clinical capability while gaining valuable hospital dispensary experience.
Key responsibilities:
- Conducting medication chart reviews and medication reconciliation
- Dispensing and supplying medications and pharmacy products
- Coordinating patient medication requirements for inpatient stays, day infusions and discharge
- Building professional relationships with key stakeholders to support high‑quality patient care
- Supporting patients, carers, hospital staff and associated employees
- Educating and advising staff and patients on medicine use, health promotion and disease prevention
What You’ll Bring
You’re an adaptable pharmacist with strong communication and interpersonal skills, who’s comfortable working independently and prioritising workload to deliver safe, high‑quality care.
Essential requirements:
- Unrestricted AHPRA general registration as a Pharmacist
- Dispensing experience in an Australian hospital or community pharmacy
- Strong knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS)
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work autonomously
