About the Role
This casual opportunity is ideal for Pharmacy Students eager to apply their academic knowledge in a real-world hospital environment, as well as Pharmacy Technicians seeking flexible weekday work.
Key responsibilities:
- Dispense and supply medication and pharmacy products.
- Delivery of medications to hospital wards.
- Process sales transactions and assist with account queries.
- Ensure patients and nursing staff receive the correct medication.
- Support patients, carers, hospital staff and associated employees.
The casual arrangement offers flexibility to work shifts that suit your schedule. Typical shifts on offer are as follows:
- Monday & Tuesday: 7:30am-1:30pm
- Thursday & Friday: 3:30pm-8:00pm
- Weekend shifts: Available on occasion
About You
Whether you’re a Pharmacy Technician looking to transition into hospital pharmacy or a Pharmacy Student keen to gain early experience – we welcome you to apply!
Essential requirements:
- Pharmacy dispensing experience or current enrolment in pharmacy studies at a recognised Australian university
- Full Australian working rights (minimum 12 months validity)
- Availability to work the majority of advertised shifts
Desirable skills and experience:
- Dispensary Technician Certificate or equivalent as recognised by the Pharmacy Board of Australia.
