You’ll work closely with our Medical Oncologists and Haematologists, ensuring every detail is taken care of so our patients can focus on healing.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Welcoming patients and managing their personal details with care
• Coordinating appointments and preparing consulting rooms
• Handling phone enquiries with empathy and professionalism
• Processing billing (Medicare, Private Health, DVA)
• Tracking patient journeys to ensure seamless care
• Maintaining accurate and confidential patient records
• Supporting workplace health and safety initiatives
• Living and breathing Icon’s values of care, innovation, and excellence

What You’ll Bring

• Experience in a medical secretary role (specialist setting preferred)
• Knowledge of Medicare, DVA, and Private Health billing
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Clear, compassionate communication skills
• Confidence using Word, Excel, and clinical systems
• A commitment to outstanding service and patient care
• Basic understanding of medical terminology
