About the Role
Your primary base will be at Slade Pharmacy in St. Vincent’s Northside, and you will regularly travel to various locations within Greater Brisbane and regional Queensland, including stunning locations such as Toowoomba, Townsville, Lismore and the Sunshine Coast.
  
Specific incentives & benefits:
  • Incentive Allowance – This is a fixed allowance on top of the base salary
  • Mileage Allowance – Be compensated for petrol costs and depreciation costs when using your personal vehicle for work purposes. TOIL and additional mileage allowances are provided for further travel.
  • Overnight Allowance – On occasions where work takes you away for more than a day.
  
This role also provides you with the opportunity to significantly diversify your career, as you will be exposed to a variety of multidisciplinary services, including oncology, clinical, and retail pharmacy. With the support of our collaborative teams, you will receive the right training and support to succeed.
  
Key responsibilities (may vary according to site):
  • Conduct medication chart reviews and medication reconciliation
  • Dispense and supply medication and pharmacy products
  • Coordinate patient medication requirements for inpatient stay, day infusions and discharge
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with key stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service to clients and patients
  • Support patients, carers, hospital staff and associated employees
  • Educate and advise staff and customers on health promotion, disease prevention, drug selection and the proper use of medicines
  
About You
You are a versatile Pharmacist who thrives in new environments and enjoys travel. Your strong communication skills and ability to adapt make you a great fit for this unique and varied role. Newly registered and Community Pharmacists are encouraged to apply as hands-on training will be provided.
  
Essential requirements:
  • AHPRA Pharmacist registration, with no restrictions on practice
  • Current drivers’ licence and roadworthy vehicle fit for purpose
  • Ability to commit to a frequent travel role
  • Flexibility to support occasional weekend shifts
