Icon Group launches its first Sustainability Report

Icon Writers / 28 May, 2025

Delivering the best care possible – for patients, people and planet. Icon Group is proud to release our first Sustainability Report, a significant milestone in our sustainability journey.

As a world-leading integrated healthcare provider, we take seriously our responsibility to deliver care in a way that supports a sustainable future. It’s at the heart of our mission – driving us to provide the best care possible for our patients, our people, and the planet.

This interim report outlines our sustainability approach and progress towards our environmental, social and governance (ESG) commitments.

Care for Patients

Icon is focused on expanding access to high-quality cancer care, particularly in underserved regions. In the past year, more than 16,000 people globally have been supported through programs aimed at improving access and clinical quality.

Care for People

With a strong emphasis on culture, wellbeing and leadership, Icon is investing in its people. Initiatives launched over the past year include a comprehensive leadership development program, improved employee experience efforts, and continued focus on diversity, equity and inclusion.

Care for the Planet

Icon has established validated science-based targets to reduce its greenhouse gas emissions. Through a transition to renewable energy, the Group has already achieved a 49% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions — a strong signal of its long-term environmental commitment.

The Sustainability Report brings together the collective efforts of teams across our group and lays the groundwork for embedding ESG into our everyday decision and actions.

It reflects Icon’s belief that sustainability is not a separate initiative, but a core part of how care is delivered — with integrity, transparency and accountability.

A Foundation for the Future

While this is Icon’s first report, it is the first step in a clear path forward and our commitment to sharing continued progress through a full Sustainability Report in 2026, including mandatory climate statements, and ongoing annual reporting.

In Sustainability, real impact is driven by collective action. Each of our team members plays a part — from reducing waste, to rethinking how services are delivered and supporting inclusive workplace practices.

We invite and encourage you to explore the report below and visit our Sustainability page, to understand our commitments, and support us in helping shape a more sustainable future.
